Creative Wax Carving and Casting - Winter Session 1 SERIES OF CLASSES

In this exciting 5 week project based class, students will learn how to create 3 dimensional wax models that will later be cast in metal using the ancient lost wax casting technique.   Each student will learn to design their very own jewelry models in wax using sculpting and carving methods to produce their own one of a kind piece.  Hattie will guide you through the steps in how to take your wax design and turn it into beautiful ancient bronze metal! All tools and materials included in class cost. No prior experience required! Students may also cast their pieces in sterling silver if they choose. Silver metal sold separately and can be purchased online or by instructor.
