Lost Wax Casting Studio SERIES OF CLASSES

This 5 week class will take you from start to finish through the ancient art of lost wax casting.

The first days of class, the students will learn about the casting process and will create unique jewelry by molding and carving wax models and preparing them for casting. In the later portion of the class we will use a technique called centrifugal casting to turn the student's wax models into solid ancient-bronze and silver jewelry and will use the remainder of the class to polish and finish their pieces.

Day 4 will require closed toes shoes and long non synthetic pants (for example jeans or khakis).
