Lost Wax Carving and Casting

This 6-week class will take you from start to finish through the ancient art of lost wax casting.

Students will learn how to carve two jewelry designs of their choosing out of jeweler's wax. After completing their carved wax models, they will learn how to sprue, invest, and cast their piece in their choice of bronze or sterling silver using the centrifugal casting method. All levels are welcome. Bronze and Silver are additional and determined by the weight of your pieces to be cast.

Tuition: $450.00

Includes waxes and casting consumables including investment.

Silver and Bronze are additional and are determined by the weight of your finished wax carvings.

All tools and safety equipment will be provided.
