spot leftThis is for the student who already has experience using all of the essential jewelry bench tools and techniques and is ready for more challenging projects. Techniques such as crushed stone inlay, flush setting faceted stones, prong setting, melting and recycling metal, advanced soldering, hinges, and more will be covered. Instructor permission is required.
Pre Requisite: completion of 1 session of Adult Metal Jewelry Level I or instructor approval.
Techniques covered in class will include introduction to bezel setting, advanced soldering techniques, chain making, and beginner stone setting, including cabochon, tube, prong and flush settings.
