A throw back to the days of old, wax seals were ornately carved emblems of royalty or gentry. In this two week (5hr) Workshop students will use Wax Stamps to create their own jewelry pieces.
Our first class will focus on stamping a variety of seals in wax and learning the basic steps to prepare for lost wax casting. The second week students will clean up their castings and making their own unique pieces of jewelry.
If you have a wax stamp of your own, please feel free to bring them.
Materials costs are based on finished silver weight at $1 a gram payable to instructor at end of second session.
