Terra Cotta Tile & Trivets

Create a collection of one-of-a-kind trivets and tiles using rich terra-cotta red clay. Explore texture, carving, and appliqué techniques as you add patterns and dimensional details to each piece.

The tiles will remain unglazed, allowing the warm, natural beauty of fired terra cotta to shine—reminiscent of traditional handmade pottery from days gone by. Students can expect to create approximately five to six tiles or trivets. No pottery experience is necessary!
