Throwing with Intention

This workshop is for returning wheel students with some throwing experience who are looking to take their skills to the next level.  This workshop will discuss what throwing with intention "looks like," and how to master techniques that will take you beyond the basics and improve your outcomes. There will be a brief refresher of foundations, followed by demonstrations for intentional shapes and structural details.  Wheel time will consist of using larger amounts of clay, working toward taller cylinders and manipulating their shape purposefully, shaping bowls, making "necks," and closing forms (based on skill level).

Pre-requisite of at least one 6-week wheel course. Adults and teens 15+
